Meaning of Home

Home is a place where movie night happens once a week on a Friday! Friday is a day where I can say “goodbye” to my brothers and then all of my problems will disappear. It’s like getting a message from the world's best masseuse. Home is a place where everyday after school I can visit my grandparents to say hi and also to get candy because they never eat it so I do it for them. Or where I can fall asleep in a second listening to my grandparents cat purr and play with the toys he gets spoiled with because he’s gentle and cute. Home is a place where I can ask my mom if I can go over to a friend's house or if they can come over here. If she says “yes” walk away before she changes her mind and if she says “no” don’t start an argument with her because she’s gonna win anyways so there's really no point at all. Home is a place where I can write peacefully and freely just like this. Writing relaxes my mind and doing it for the community is even better. That is home to me.
