Meaning of Home

“Tick!” The clock hits 3:00 pm, time to hit the road! I finished all my daily work, it was one of those long and tiring days. It starts and ends the same way. Although that's how the world is, just sleep, eat and work; I just can’t help but smile, and feel so at ease. When I walk back from a exhausting day; It may feel empty at first, but a wave of warmth and embrace quickly fill the air. Everyone that I know is there. My sibling, whom we share laughs from time to time, and try our best to not to fight. My parents are both caring and wise, helping me all the time. It's more than just 4 walls and a roof, it's a place where joy and laughter can stir about. It’s a place where I can be myself, and be accepted for who I am. It’s a special place, where I was born and loved. It’s where I have my fondest memories with my family and my experiences. It’s where I can smell the tasty aroma that leaves its mark. It’s a place where I can focus and create ideas that go above and beyond. This is the place that I call home. Everyone can describe what home is differently, but the meaning of home is similar in ways big and small. A house can be made of anything, but a home is everything. This is my definition of home.
