When Someone Says Home

When someone says “home” most people would think of a house or apartment. But to me there are many differences between a house and a home. A house is somewhere you sleep, cook and do homework. A house is where you paint, do art or play video games. A house could be empty or bare and filled with sadness. A home is a place where you spend time with family and friends and is filled with laughter and joy. To me home is somewhere you feel happy and loved. Somewhere you make memories and feel peace. Somewhere you are surrounded by people who love and care for each other. A house has four walls, but a home can be anywhere. A school, a park or somewhere in your neighborhood. It can even be something you imagine in your head that doesn't exist but you want it to. It doesn't have to be a small place though, it could be a whole amazing country like Canada or poland! A house is just a building, while a home is somewhere you look forward to being there and you never want to leave. A house is somewhere you spend most of your time in, but may not want to. While home is where I want to be.
