The True Meaning of Home

What is home? To me home feels like a place of kindness and happiness. Where you know it's a safe place no matter what. Because it's a place full of love and people who care about you. At home I feel happy when I help my family. I also feel happy when I draw. It makes me feel calm. Happiness is something I love to share. You don't need money to buy kindness because you have the right to be kind. I show kindness by crocheting scarfs for my family. I also show kindness by caring for others. I'm not doing this for attention, I'm doing this to make others feel good. That’s the true meaning of kindness. At my home safety is important and my home is full of it. That’s where I feel safe the most. I feel safe when I am with the people I love and know. My favourite place in my home is my room where I love to watch the bubbles in my lava lamp going back and forth. Another place I like is my kitchen where I can make different foods with my family. Family means everything to me. It’s not the building you're in; it's the people in the house that make it feel like home, and that is my family. That's the true meaning of home.
