The Difference Between a House and a Home

Have you ever wondered what the difference is between a house and a home? Well, a home is more than just four walls and a roof. A home is where your sisters are loud going BANG! POW! POOF! A house is just some rooms, furniture, and the basics. It’s somewhere people live on their daily basis. A home is where you thrive. A house is a place for you to survive. A home is nice, warm, and fun. A house is where you get things done. A home is where you can comfortably sleep and eat. A house is a place where you can play games and get beat (but it’s okay because it’s just for fun). A home is your own little happy place. A house is a shelter. A home is safety and a homebase and the scent of your stinky brother. A house is where you live. A home is surrounded with people you love. That is the difference between a house and a home. This is what MY home is like. What’s yours like? Maybe it’s quiet and empty, maybe it’s loud and cramped! Thank you Habitat For Humanity for giving people a home, not just a house.
