What Home Means to Me

Home is the place where you feel safe, relaxed and comfortable. When I think of home, I think of being happy with family. I think of being relaxed after a long day at school. Home is where I can talk to my family about everything. Home is where you can feel safe around people you love the most. Home is where you get a delicious hot meal made with love. Home is where I can be comfortable around the people around me. Home is where cherished memories that you’ll remember forever. These are things you can do in a home not a house. A house is where it feels uncomfortable to live in. A house is where it doesn't feel safe. A house is where it doesn't feel accessible for your needs. When a home is accessible for your needs. A house just doesn't feel like a home. A home is where it is yours not others, it gives the feeling of saying my home, my room, my place...In a house it feels like it’s not yours. Everyone deserves a home just to have that one feeling to make it yours. In a house it just doesn't have that feeling that a home does. Yes, a home can go away but it will always be a place in your heart because it has all those memories that you cherish the most. A house won’t have the same memories that a house does because it’ll bring your worst memories that you had in your house. That is why I think everyone deserves a home so we can all have that one home feeling that we all need in life.
