The Meaning of Home

Do you know that more and more people become homeless every day? I believe everyone deserves a home. There's always something that makes a house become a home for everybody. Lots of things make my house a home important to me like my family. Anyways, I'm here to tell you what makes a house a home. A house becomes a home when it is filled with the people you love and the memories you make there is what I think makes a house become a home. My house becomes a home when I make memories at my birthday parties and me and my friends danced in my room for a long time then went in my pool and we didn't get out when their parents came. Or when we surprised my mom for her birthday to see her best friend who lives in Yellowknife, those are memories I will never forget. My home is very important to me because I have a family who love me and we all live together and my neighbors are so sweet and nice too. My stuffies that I've had for a long time make my home important to me because I played with them and put them on my fan and I turned it on, they went flying. Also my sports equipment makes my home important to me because my parents would play volleyball with me the night before my game to help me get ready for it. I am grateful for my home so I can practice my sports. My pets make my home so important to me because when I get home from school they are so excited to see me, my dog Remy is so sweet greeting me when I get home. My hamster Maisie loves to see me when I get home, she would make noises and run around in her cage. Everyone deserves a home because people make a lot of memories in a home. Homes are a place where people can do fun or crazy things and nobody will think “what is that person doing?” because your family and friends know who you really are and won't question you at all. Everyone deserves a home because a home is a place you can have fun and relax. Everyone deserves a home because in winter it is so cold and we can stay inside to be warm but people who don't have a home can't do that. People deserve a home because we have everything we need and way more they don't and that's not fair to them. The true meaning of home to me is that a home can be somewhere to be yourself and make memories with the people you love. My family makes a house a home for me including my dog Remy. They all love me so much. The time you spend and the fun times you have in your house truly makes it a home.
