What Home Means to Me
My home is a safe place. It's strong in the ground so it won't fall down in the wind, my family protects me so I don't get hurt. My home is also in a safe area so no one will hurt me. Home is very peaceful, the aroma of our delicious food my parents make is great to eat. The oxygen in my house is full of love, you can also smell delicious sizzling breakfast for the morning.
My home is unique in a way because it's different. I moved in when I was four years old from Alberta. We moved because there was more of my family here in Nova Scotia. We left a lot of friends behind and lots of memories but we made more here. One of my favorite memories is when I was younger on my grandma's porch in the summer I would sleep by the pool in my pink chair and my blue hat.
Every day I wake up hearing birds chirping and the wind blowing. When I wake up I get ready for the day, then I get ready for school in ten minutes it's time to get up and I leave home. After school I get home and play my switch with my dad. Then by the time my day is done I go to bed and watch a movie on my TV in my room. When I hear my parents footsteps I rush, I turn the TV off and I lay down, close my eyes and sleep. I love home.
I love my home. I can't imagine a new home, all the memories I can’t leave. My home is great. Home means a lot to me. I love home.
