It Wouldn't be Home Without You

A house, Made of brick or wood, With a roof made of metal or shingles— It doesn’t matter because home is where you live. Emotions are spread wide, Excitement fills the air, Love is shared with family and friends. It’s where you rest at night, It's where you feel safe, Where laughter fills the room. The smell of a meal cooking, Where you come home to your family and pets waiting for you. The sound of someone calling your name. Home is where memories are made, Where moments are remembered, Where hugs and kisses are always waiting, And every little thing feels right. Where all your fears go away. The smell of homemade popcorn popping before a movie, The look of all the smiles on the faces you love, The long car rides to somewhere you always wanted to go, The random bursts of laughter. Where appreciation is shown in every little thing. Home is where the real you shows. It wouldn't be a home without you! Thank you Habitats for Humanity for building homes for the people who don't have one, and putting so much positivity and love into the homes you are creating!
