House or Home
What do you call it, your home or your house? I call it my home because it's so much more comforting. My home feels like the one place where you constantly want to be.
My home makes me feel loved and consistently cared for. At my home, I never feel unsafe or wounded inside. Day-to-day at school I am repeatedly thinking about when it is over. This is because I get to go home and walk into the astonishing scent of the marvelously lit candles. When I walk through the door I feel the warm welcome of love and kindness in the air. Also, having my puppy Noelle jump up and give me kisses makes my day so much more special.
The smell of the sweet air, the sounds of the children laughing in the distance, all of those things make me happy. I love walking
Noelle passed the Orchard near my house, seeing the juicy green apples on the trees and hoping they would get bigger so we could eat them.
After sports, sprinting inside and up the stairs to see what my parents made for dinner. Getting changed quickly just to eat that delicious meal that is sitting there steaming hot and waiting for me. It makes me smile, to see the breathtaking and marvellous plate of Greek food with extra fries and
a vanilla milkshake sitting there for me.
For me, I will always have a enormous connection
with my home. It’s the place where I have so many wonderful memories and some sad memories. Also, I have all of my special belongings that I have had since I was a baby. For me home is always where the love is.
