What is HOME

What is Home A home is not an apartment nor a house; a home can be many things, I think a home is a place where you are loved; where key memories are made. My home is a place where I can have fun and be joyful. A home can have a wide range of rooms such as a living room, kitchen, basement, bedrooms, bathroom, dining room etc. but it doesn’t need any of those; a home is what you think a home is, a place that you want your home to be. A home is a place you feel safe in, a place you love. A home is where you can enjoy relaxing after a long hard day at school or work. A home is a place where you grow up, a place where you should savour. A home is a safeplace, where all are welcome; a sanctuary of happiness. A place where you can do what you want. Not everybody has a home; some people are homeless and that is the point of Habitat for Humanity. Habitat for Humanity is a non profit organization that makes homes for people in need. You may not be able to do a lot but, the least you can do is enter the Habitat for Humanity Writing Contest. It's free to enter and it shows that you care. It may not seem like a lot but Habitat for Humanity helped about 60 million people in total and has helped over 3 Million people in the last year. Thank you for all that you do! -Nathan s.
