My Home

My home is a safe place. My home is like a friend that never leaves. Each morning my mom wakes me with a start. She drags me out of bed. I slowly get dressed. My mom yells breakfast me and my sister and brother run down the stairs for breakfast. Then my sister pulls me to the bus stop as my mom drives away. After school there’s a note on my door. It says what to do for my afternoon chores. After my chores I need to get my sister to do hers as I watch a show. In the evening my dad will yell “dinner”. I drag my brother and sister down. It could be soup or maybe tacos. After dinner it’s time for bed. brush your teeth get your pj’s! My mom reads a book with my dad and then it’s time for bed. My home is not only a structure, it’s a friend that keeps you safe from harm.
