Home

What is home to me, you ask? A place where senses weave their mask. The sights, the sounds, the touch so near, The smells and tastes that bring me cheer. I see the walls, so warm and bright, Soft shadows dancing in the light. The faces loved, the smiles they wear, The gentle glow of love and care. I hear the laughter, soft and sweet, The patter of familiar feet. The whispers in the quiet night, The songs that make my heart take flight. I feel the comfort in every space, The tender hug, the soft embrace. The fabric worn with stories told, The warmth that wraps me in its fold. I smell the meals that fill the air, The scent of spices, rich and rare. The flowers blooming by the door, The fragrance that I most adore. I taste the love in every bite, The simple meals that feel so right. The flavors shared with those I love, The sweetest blessings from above. But home is more than walls that stand, It's hearts and hopes, a gentle hand. A space where love and life entwine, A place that's yours, a place that's mine. So, home to me is all of this, A sensory world of perfect bliss. A place where every sense can find, A tender touch, a peace of mind.
