Meaning of Home

Home is a structure filled with love. Home is a structure with the smell of my mom’s perfume, the sounds of my sister’s screams. Home is a comfortable place where I feel safe. Home is where I keep my electronics and my PS5. It is a place where my family is together, hugging and taking care of each other. Home is where the walls hold the laughter and the quiet moments. It’s the space where we share old memories and new ones are made, where every corner has a piece of me in it. It is the warmth of blankets after a long day. Where no one judges you for who you are or what you’ve been through. I would wake up to the smell of breakfast cooking, and fall asleep knowing that I am not alone. A home is in everyday moments that build a life, from watching movies to hearing the familiar sound of someone calling my name. It’s not just a place, it’s a feeling. Home is not defined by walls or a roof but by the love and memories that fill it, making it my favourite place in the world. Home is my favourite place.
