Home Means A Lot

When the sun shines in my parents’ room, feeling the warmth through the smooth glass it gives the warm sparkly effect that summer is coming soon. Looking at the big black bookshelf, it’s like a library full of exciting adventures waiting to be read. A home isn’t just some walls and a roof, it’s a place where you can truly be you. You can run around, dance and sing on the top of your lungs, but most importantly, it’s about having fun. Home is a place that everyone needs when they feel lost in the world. Sometimes the outside world feels quite overwhelming, and it feels so good to snuggle up and relax in my comfy warm bed at the end of the day, home means a lot to me, it’s my privacy and my space, it’s a warm and cozy space, it’s a place where I can get away, it’s a place where I can stay. After school, I’m home walking up the yellow carpeted stairs, I get to my room where I feel safety, respect, and privacy. When night falls, all the worries go to my head, I’m tossing and turning in my bed, then I remember I am safe at home, I close my eyes and let my worries drift up in a balloon. When I get dressed in the morning, and I’m all ready for school, I know I’ll be standing right here soon. When I feel alone, I’ll just go home.
