Going home

I have been gone for many days now and soon I'm going home. I was up all-night thinking of home, the way it looks, the way it smells, the way it feels. When I woke up this morning and went to eat, I was thinking about home, thinking of the bleu hallway from my room to the kitchen where every morning I eat breakfast with my loving family. After breakfast I go to pack my bag and as I pack my stuff it reminds me of home, as I pack my favorite blue shirt, I think the of the summer my sister got it for me it makes me smile, that memory. My suitcase is in the car and now I am going home. The drive to the ferry is long but I don't mind because the ferry will take me home. Finally were at the ferry sitting in the car waiting and waiting. Finally, we started boarding the ferry, we just made it on. As I walk around the ferry, I see pan flits full of pictures of my favorite spots on the island. After I'm done eating, I go to the window at the front of the boat and look at the ocean and suddenly an island comes into view. A voice comes over the loudspeaker saying “if you look out front you will be able to see our destination, beautiful Vancouver Island” those words make me smile. Finally the boat docs. As we got off the boat, I saw all these familiar places. On the drive home I can't stop smiling. Finally, we turn into my street and my house comes into view. As we pulled into the driveway I ran into the house and started to cry because after so long, I was home.
