Home

Home is a place with friends and family, A place where you’ll always have an alli. Home carries a barrier of love and warmth, Where the air is lukewarm. Home has a smell of fresh cooked meals, And that’s a deal. A house has walls that are bare, A home has love and care. My room is just right, Like stars in the night. The taste is like turkey, But it's not murky. My home feels like a soft couch, Or a kangaroo pouch. Home is a place where I can be true, Where my dreams are not blue. A house is to roam, A home doesn't come alone. A home is free, A house costs and is a fee. In a home I am safe and sound, While in a house I feel drowned In a home I don’t hide, In a house I side. In a home im not small, In a house I can fall. It may not be big, But it's not a gig. And that is home.
