Home is Memories

“Time to go,” said Riley as she grabbed her backpack and suitcase. Riley had been living in her small one bedroom apartment, her house the past 4 years, as she has been in university. But now she has made a decision to move in with her fiance, Mike. As she put her bags in the back of her jeep, she took a deep breath and told herself “I can do this.” Twenty minutes later she arrived at Mike’s home. “Ok this is my new house,” said Riley. She reached into her pant pocket for her new house key. As she put the key in the key hole, she told herself “Just rip off the Band-Aid” as she took off her Adida platforms. Mike walked up to her with open arms. “Let's start our Legacy Riley,” said Mike. Over the years, Riley started to call her house a home. Two years later Riley and Mike got married in their living room, The following year Riley gave birth to triplets, two boys and one girl Ava, Noah, and Ben. So a house has a roof, four walls and a floor. But a home has so many memories.
