Home isn’t just a house

Having a house is not the same as having a Home. A house is a building with four walls and a roof. A home is my family the people I love. Houses are just buildings, but a home is not. So, what is home? Home is a hug from my little brother, after a long day at school. Its playing a board game with my family, even if I don’t always win. Home is sitting in the big tree that’s in my front yard, reading a book. Or just sitting there! Home is my brothers, asking my mom if we can have McDonalds for supper… every single day! Home is playing LEGO with my siblings, ore even building with Duplo bricks. Or laying in my bed, listening to annoying crickets all night when I’m trying to sleep. Sometimes I wish I could go out there and tell them to be quiet! Home is going on a bike ride with my dad. So, what does home mean to you? A house is just a building (its also just not as fancy!). All a house is, is a structure with furniture inside. Home doesn’t have to be your house or apartment, it can be people, your cabin, or even your whole city! Home can be your dog, your cat, home can be anything! Home for me is pancakes for breakfast, its playing with my brothers, baking a cake, or eating one! Home can be anywhere, and anything! What does home mean to you?
