Home is not a house

A houses entry way is plain empty and bare, but a home has love and anticipation in the air. A houses kitchen may have a sink and a fridge, but a home has memoires made and shared. A houses living room may have furniture so grand, but a home living room is a space full of memories of stories told with voices so soft. A houses bedroom has a bed, a carpet and a door, but a home is much more it’s a place where you can rest safe from the outside air. A houses basement may have a fireplace and cabinets for storage, but a home is full of memories of siting by the fire with the feeling of safe in the air. A houses exit may have a door but a home is much more. A home is full of reluctance to exit the warmth and enter the harsh world of outside air. Thank you, habitat, for humanity for trying to help people who need it.
