My Home
If you visited my home, you would see love, safety, and there is a lot of laughter in my home.
I feel loved in my home when my mom cooks me dinner. After a long day of work even though it’s the last thing she wants to do, my mom always cooks me dinner. It is even harder for her because I am a Pescatarian (a person who doesn’t eat red meat, and poultry but I do eat seafood). So, she must make two completely different meals! Another, thing that makes me feel loved is after school every day my day says, “How was your day, Georgia!” It makes me feel loved knowing that he cares about me and what happened in my day.
I feel safe in my home because I have cameras outside my home. Whenever I or someone else walk close to my home my dad gets a buzz on his phone. It makes me feel safe that my dad can see anyone who comes close to our home. Also, what makes me feel safe is my dog. He is very loud and doesn’t mind biting people. He barks at the littlest things so I know he will bark at someone entering our home.
There is a lot of laughter in my home. We have a lot of inside jokes! One of the things that makes us laugh is when my dog does yoga. Another thing is when my cat does his funny walk. Laughter is one of the reasons why I love my home.
I’ve been in my home for 8 years and it’s the only home I’ve ever known. I hope my kids feel loved, safety, and laughter, like I do in the home I provide for them.
