Meaning of Home

The meaning of home to me is the sense of feeling like you fit in, that you have no worries or fears. Like when you lay in your own bed, in your own house, with your own family with no fear of being weird, different or judged. Being at home is when you know you can take care of others and they will take care of you. It is a place you are used to, a place that you love and that you are part of. I have many homes because I feel at home with my family, with my friends and because I play hockey being on the ice or at the arena also makes me feel at home. The meaning of home to me also is feeling comfortable. When I am on the ice with my friends, at my house with my family, being with my elders or relatives, it all makes me feel at home. Safe, secure, comfortable, welcomed, feeling like you belong. That is what home means to me.
