Home, A Place of Kindness and Love

Home. When you hear this word, you might think of a warm, protective, shelter, but really it’s much more than that. A home is full of love, joy, family and kindness. You will make memories and spread happiness at home. Even your friends can be a part of home! Sometimes, home can be at different places or times, like that vacation you and your family went on or that field trip your class went on. Home isn’t about the place that you’re at, it’s about the people that you’re with. At home, you might hear laughter, fun, joy and the sound of your dad’s jokes. At home, you might see family, friends, siblings and presents under the Christmas tree on December 25th. At home, you might smell pancakes on a Sunday morning and fresh Mac And Cheese from mom. At home, you might taste a fresh glass of water in the morning or butter chicken from mom. At home, you might feel a warm hug from mom and dad when you’re feeling sad. When you’re at home, you’re around family and friends. You might feel at home when doing some hobbies you like with your friends or the feeling of your cat's warm fur. Some things you might like doing at home are playing with your siblings, helping your dad, talking to your friends, or watching a movie with your family. Home can be many different things and not everything will be listed here. You might have a different perspective of home depending on who you are, but no matter what, home will always be a warm place in my heart. So thank you Habitat For Humanity for giving the less fortunate people a chance at life.
