Family and Home

For me my home is a blanket of memories, each event a thread, woven together to create the perfect tapestry. My home is a place of family, kindness, support and safety. It’s a roof over my head, and somewhere to sleep in my bed. I’m really grateful for my home. But, my home is this way because of my family and me, together we have shared all the good times as can be. So, wherever my family is my home. Whether overseas, or next to me, it’s not the home, it’s the people who live there. One of the many things I love about my home is that it’s a cozy shelter from the world, filled with fun and memories that keep our lips curled. I love Friday nights, my family comes together and we make homemade pizza. Then, we turn out the lights and watch a movie while cuddling on the couch, all huddling together. The reason I love this so much is because I get to have fun, and spend quality time with my family. I love watching sports with my dad, or talking with my mom. I like any big event, because my family comes together to celebrate, all content. My family is my home. I think that it’s really important to cherish your family and stay on good terms, keep healthy relationships so that you can realize the true importance of love. If you aren't on good terms with your family, I would truly advise that you take a step in the right direction and make some affection. I say this because of how much I value my family, and I think everyone should feel this way.
