The Meaning of Home

Home, Home is a place where I go to relax after a long day of work at school. A place where I get to see my mom, dad, and pets. Where I enjoy home cooked meals. Where I feel love, happiness and joy. I believe Home is a big memory box because home leads back everything. The meaning of home is not just a place it is multiple rooms filled with love. It is not the house, it is the people and the things inside. It is way bigger than a little box. What I see in my house is important too. When I'm in my bedroom and I see all my stuff it brings me so much joy. Knowing that I am surrounded by all my memories makes me think that these things are much more than stuff. For me my family and memories make our house a lovable space. I believe that everyone should have a very special place to call home. Even if you do not have a family of your own, everyone deserves a chance to live somewhere. I feel very fortunate to have a house and parents who love me so much. I promise to help those who are in need of a home, or just someone to talk to. Nobody should be homeless. I hope we can bring our communities together to make families , friends and neighbors. Being together is one of the best feelings ever. I will have empathy for everyone that has less than me. As well as being kind, everybody is more capable than they know. I will try to make someone's day special today and everyday. My room is also a very special place, it's a place where I hang up posters and flags up on my wall. It's where I can feel calm and relaxed, and have a good night's rest. But also somewhere I can have fun and play with my friends and stay up late. It is such a weird and amazing place. A place where mistakes are expected and respected and I will not be judged if I am happy or sad. Having a positive attitude or not I love my room because no one can tell me what to feel. My room will always be there for me whenever or wherever. If you have ever had a friend over they will come to your home. When you buy stuff you take it home when you are upset you talk to your mom and dad at home. When you sleep you sleep at home. When you sit down on your couch and watch a movie on the big tv you do that at home. That's what I mean by home leads back to everything because it does. When I think of love I think of home because “ home leads back to everything." Home is such a lovely place and that's what I love about home the most. It is much more than just four walls. That's why I make the most of what I have because not everyone has a home. I will forever love my home. I really hope my writing made a difference in the world. Thank you for reading.
