Home is a Portal to Warmth
Family gathers close—secrets bloom like flowers,
Safety hugs us tight, kindness builds strong towers.
Laughter dances ’round like popcorn in a pot,
Excitement’s sparkly confetti—we’ve got a lot!
Grown-ups sneak to cook magic foods (shhh… don’t tell!),
Sprinkling secret spices that make our noses swell.
“When’s it ready?” we chant, tummies grumble-roar,
Till yummy mountains pile high—we beg for more, more, more!
Gifts play hide-and-seek, wrapped in rainbows and bows,
Surprises snooze inside—what’s in there? Nobody knows!
No one’s left alone here, no shadows, no fright,
Just hands to hold us close, and stars to kiss us goodnight.
Our house isn’t walls—it’s a blanket of song,
Where shouts turn into hugs, and love feels loud and strong.
You curl up, drift to sleep, powerful energy safely holding,
Mind drifts off, without a care, images unfolding.
Traveling to worlds of harmony—wild and sweet, where portals open wide,
Today was pure sunshine, and tomorrow’s grass is the other side.
This is my home.
Warm.
Always.
