My Home

Home to me is a place where I feel comfort and joy. Home is where I can be a kid again with zero worries or cares. Home is where I can feel safe. Home is where I’m a kid again and my parents are still together. My dad pushing me on my bike as I learn to ride. Home is when my parents are standing together waiting for me to arrive home from school. My mom and dad hugging me as we laugh our worries away. My home is not just a house, it's my home. Where my cats snuggle with me as we sleep. Home is when my Grammy come to visit and bring me sweets. My home is my home. People who walk by or come to visit my home don’t see my home the same as I do. I don’t see their home the same way they do. Everyone deserves a home that they can feel safe calm and happy in. My home will always be my home. No matter how old I get I'll always come home.
