Home

Home is a comforting place and is full of happiness. I feel safe when I am home with my dogs because they are protective. There is lots of food and water in the kitchen. My dogs get excited and happy when they see me coming home from school. Home is a place where you can stay warm and cozy. When my dad gets home, my home is more fun. I love the smell of lasagna my dad makes and the taste of fettuccini alfredo my mom makes. It is so delicious. The cool crisp air outside is peaceful and refreshing. The 'hand portrait' my family and I made when they were visiting from England brings me reminders. I see my mom and dad's wedding picture in the hallway; I see my sister's decorated bedroom. The garage is full of tools and equipment. Outside is snowy, icy, and slushy. Home is a place for me.
