To me home means…

Waking up to the birds sing. When I walk downstairs my family greets me with my sister yelling with my mom and my dad making pancakes. I sit down and my sister starts yelling at me that I stole her shorts, and my dad brings me a plate of blueberry pancakes and my mom smiles, and it reminds me that I’m at home. I shove pancakes into my mouth and my sister yells I found my shorts," and I sigh with relief that I can eat in peace and quiet. After I’m done with my breakfast, I start walking to school with my mom and see all the other kids walking with their parents. I smile and think this is home. When I get to school, I see all my friends are waiting for me. Some huge me and some tackle me. The bell rings and we go inside and get saved from the minus eight chill outside. When I'm inside I feel a warm wave wash over me and I know I'm safe at home. When my teacher calls out my name, I say here with a big smile on my face The teacher says we must do math now we all groan, and we start are math. I sit with my friends and other people sit with their friends and I know I'm at home. After we do much more work its finally recess and we all crowd the hallway, and everybody can't get to the door I finally get to the door and sprint outside. I meet my friends at the swings, and we walk around and talk, and I know I'm at home. Some people think you can only have one home, but I have way more than one.
