The Meaning of Home

The Meaning of Home Home is my happy place. Home is a place where I feel safe, calm and happy. Home is a place where I bake with my grandma, play with my brothers and sister, and watch movies with my family on the weekends. At home I get to be with my dad, my sister, my brother, step brother, my dad’s girlfriend, and sometimes my grandma. I live in a townhouse with a small yard. I share a bedroom with my sister and hope that I will get my own bedroom one day, but I also know that I am lucky to have a home and some kids don’t. In my bedroom I have my special stuffies and I like to cuddle with them when I sleep. I feel lucky to have a safe place to live and sleep. I’m grateful for the roof over my head, a kitchen to cook meals in, a bedroom to sleep in, and a small yard to play in. I don’t have much, but I feel happy to have what I do. I love my home.
