A place called home

Ever since I was born, I was surrounded by people who loved me so much. And the memories we made from day one, created the meaning of family in my mind and my heart. Being able to feel comfort is meaningful. A place where you can be yourself. You can laugh, you can cry, you can struggle, you can fall down and get back up again. You can make mistakes and learn from it without judgement. You know the feeling of being lost sometimes and the guidance you receive from your parents and family means so much. When you're hungry, you come to a warm plate. When you're blue, your parents can cheer you up. When you're bored, you have siblings to play with. When you're sick, everyone looks after you. These all happen in a place called home. A place filled with love. I wish all kids have a safe place that they can call home. They can laugh. They can cry. They have people to cheer them up. I hope all children can go home to a warm table. I hope all children have a place to call home. I am both happy and sad. I am happy because I have a place to call home and I am sad because some people don’t even have a home.
