Home
Home is not a place you can by,
It’s a place where you can rely.
Open a door, you’ll find more,
Then fancy furniture beyond the door.
Where the most wonderful moments are made,
None of them will ever fade.
Just like a flower, a family blooms,
Never alone in separate rooms.
In a room, you can cry,
Then you know you’re goanna try.
Dreams all mixed up in the air,
Sometimes you say it’s not fair.
In the kitchen where smells mix,
You wouldn’t want a single Twix.
Cooking together, a family cue,
Now no one has any blues.
In a bathroom, wash you’re worries,
Then you’re in a wave of flurries.
Cleaning yourself head to toe,
Then you’re graceful as a doe.
When the family gathers in the dining room,
They start to stuff there face with food.
Telling jokes, laughing continuously,
Forever and ever, making history.
Home is different for everyone,
And sometimes, it’s just one.
Home is who you’re with,
A big family or a fish.
Thank you, habitat for humanity.
