WHAT HOME MEANS TO ME

When I'm at home, I feel love, comfort, and safety. My favourite things to do there are the games that I play on my Nintendo Switch. I have a lot of games to play on it. If I had to choose a favourite, it would be Mario Kart 8. My absolute favourite thing to do is to play any type of game: a Switch game, a board game, or a card game. At my house, you can smell my mom or dad cooking in the kitchen. When I come home from school, I can smell it and it always smells good. At my house you can smell my mom cooking in the kitchen. I don't really know what she is making until my brother or sister spoils the fun for me and asks my mom or dad what they're making. Sometimes my mom is in the shop making shirts, and her business is called Spark Joy, and I helped paint a room in her workshop. There are things at home that you can’t buy, like the things that you make when you are making something like memories and friends. A home isn't just a place with walls and a roof. It’s a place where you feel love and comfort. If you don’t have one, I feel bad for you, and I hope that Habitat for Humanity builds one for you. Thank you, Habitat For Humanity, for giving people who don't have one a home.
