The Meaning of Home
My home, a habitat, is important to me because my family is there. What my family does when we’re together is play board games. We like to play Ticket to Ride because it is a fun and challenging game. My family and I like to drink bubbly and eat chips while we play. We play this at the kitchen table because we don't want to get crumbs on the floor. We’re normally all “serious’’ because we really want to win, but sometimes we laugh too, because we’re having fun.
In the summer, my family goes swimming in the pool. I like swimming with my family because my brother and sister always make up fun activities to play in the pool.
In the fall, my siblings and I rake up big piles of leaves, hide candy in them, and then look for the candy. We like to do this because we get candy at the end.
In winter, we build snow forts and snowmen. I like to play with my family because it comforts them and me. I love my family because they are the people that love me.
In spring, my family and I go for nature walks behind our house. We do this because it teaches us more about God. I like to learn about God because he created this whole world, and I think that’s pretty cool because he did it just by talking.
