Why Home is Great

Home is a place where you think of memories and laughter and so much more. It’s almost like I'm chasing it, like swimming to the shore. A house is nothing compared to a singular home. And that's why I'm writing this poem. I have people all around me, I just feel and am so free. Home is a place where you are near the fireplace. It develops heat at a perfect pace. Home is a place with family and friends, and with that comes nice notes people might just send. I love home. It's a place to chill out but if someone doesnt let me and I know Santa doesn't like this either I will maybe just have to pout. Why is home really so great? I might say that to a mate. Home is a place where even if you think you are, YOU are never late. When I'm near the fireplace I love to relax. I like when my dad keeps the fireplace hot with the firewood he cuts with an ax. Everyone deserves one thing in a home. And that one thing is the feeling of home. I wanted to let everyone know that is why I wrote this poem!
