What home means to me

“I get a special treat every day,” bragged the golden retriever. “How about you?” “I have loads of toys at my house,” answered the hamster. “What about you?” “Well, I have an enormous house,” whispered the kitty. “Do you have anything?” “….” the bird did not say anything. “Well?” asked the animals. “I do not have get a special treat,” the bird started to speak. “I do not have loads of toys,” “Really?” gasped the animals. “I do not have a giant house, but….” “But?” asked the animals with excitement. “I have a nice little nest to stay in, and a happy family that makes me smile.” replied the bird. “Huh?” the animals got shocked. “But you don’t get a special treat,” said the golden retriever. “Yes,” “And you don’t have loads of toys at your house,” asked the hamster. “Yup.” “And you don’t even have a giant house!” yelled the kitty. “Yes, but one little nest and a one happy family is enough for me.” said the bird. “that’s all I need.”
