The Pieces of Home

To start off in a simple way, A home is where you live. Where everyone in the home you dwell Loves and always forgives No matter where you live, If it’s a house or tent or shed, A home is a place where such great joy is happily given and spread. Rest really puts home in shape. Where life seems so very peaceful, Slowing me down from hasty routines, Rest makes me so very grateful. Warmth is another piece of home. It blocks the winter freeze. Home keeps us nice and comfy and warm. Wrapping us with comfort and ease Home is a place where safety abides, Protecting us from things like storms, Letting our worries fly away, Keeping us safe and sound I am so thankful for my home, This wonderful place where I live. Where safety, love, warmth, joy and rest Will be and always is.
