A home is where cherished memories are. A home is full of care and love that embraces the air. A home is filled with those who support you and will show you kindness. It is where you’re loved and praised for all your achievements. It is also somewhere where you will be cared for and welcomed. My home is where my family is. The taste of my dad’s delectable cooking makes my tummy smile and dance. The sound of my mom’s singing fills my ears with joy. The scent of my brother baking in the kitchen fills my nose with delight. A home is where you can be yourself and feel safe. Home is where you can truly be you. It makes me feel warm and at ease. My home is where I feel protected and where I feel comfortable. Home is something that will always be with you in your head or around you no matter where you are and who you are with. It truly is a blessing that Habitat for Humanity is doing these kind deeds for all of those who don’t have a place to stay, a place to call home.
