A Home is not a House

A house is just a building with no family no love and no memories, but a home has love in the air and is filled with family and friends. A house is just four walls and a door, but a home has love and pictures on the walls. A house can be nice with walls painted or bare, but a home is where the heart is. A home for me is the smell of my dad making dinner or the smell of cookies in the oven. A house is not a home without a family to fill it with memories. A house to me is a place that is cold and empty and is not place I choose to be. I choose to be in my home, not Duncan, not Paris, I choose to be at my home. A home should feel safe and a place you can be yourself. No matter how many times you move you will always have memories of your friends and family and that is what home means to me.
