House vs Home

As Ralph Waldo Emerson once said “A house is made with walls and beams but a home is made with love and dreams’’. This is a reflection on how people are living today and how people are taking their homes for granted. However, some people can't even afford a house and they are homeless. A home is where you can be yourself, a home has lots of memories and although a house costs money, a home is created with love and family. A home is where you can be yourself. You have family that won't judge you and you can trust them, which gives you freedom when you're at your home. You feel comfortable with your friends and family and you can tell them any embarrassing secret in your home and you know they will keep your secret safe. A few years later you can look back and laugh at the embarrassing secret that you told them years back. A home is where you are appreciated and accepted for being you and you don't have to change your whole personality just to fit in. A home has lots of memories. When you look back on your home you have flashbacks of all the great times that you had with your family. You will also feel the loved and funny memories deep in your heart forever and ever. When you take one step into your home you are filled with joy because your family is always with you and you can make more amazing memories with them when they are still around. I will always take my great memories with me to every house and everywhere I go and cherish my family and how grateful I am to have a family where I am loved and appreciated. That’s why we can provide people with a house so they can build their house into a home, so they can make memories for themselves. A house is a place that costs money but a home can’t be bought. A house takes weeks and months to build but a home takes love and time. A house is a place in an empty lot as a home can be anywhere you imagine. Sometimes money isn't stable and you can't afford your house but a home is always with you. A house is created by money however a home is created by love. A home can be anything you imagine or feel, anywhere you want it to be. Where you feel comfort and love with people around you. That is why Habitat for Humanity is a great program that can provide people in need for shelter and houses that they can slowly build into a home. Thank you so much Habitat for Humanity
