Home is Community

What makes a house a home? Well, a house has four walls, a roof, and a door. But in a home, family is your protection, and a home is anywhere: a park, a trailer, or even your favourite climbing tree. Anywhere can be your home. Your home is a community; with your family, you can build a strong community and make each other feel at home. Make lasting memories in your home. Those lasting memories make a house a home. And what makes a house a home? Well, here's my opinion on the topic. Home is a community. A home is where you are all together with family and friends. I go to Sunday supper with all of my family. In your community you are appreciated; love is appreciation. Show appreciation for your family. Your community has memories. When you are with your community, memories are made, like when my brother, my two cousins, and I all started walking in the same spot! Home is a cherished place, and home is a feeling, not a place. Home has memories. Home is made of memories. Memories are the life of family. Home is where memories are made. Pictures. Pictures are snapshots of memories being made. The pictures on the walls or in your mind are all memories being showcased in their own way. Memories are made in your home and nowhere else. Your home is a memory. Memories sustain life; they are family members in frames and in the air. Now what makes a house a home? Well, a house… A house has four walls, a door, and a roof. A house has no memories and no family; no love and no happiness can be shared here. But in a home… Home is a place of love, joy, and happiness. Home has family love and appreciation for each other. A home in human form is family. A house turning into a home is having family bringing the life of the party to your happy place. So overall this contest has really made me see how many differences these two places have. These are very diverse, like how a home is a community and holds memories, then how a house is just a place. In the end, a house and a home are two very different things.
