A House Is Not A Home Until You Make It One
A house is not a home until you make it one.
A house has walls that may seem cold and bare.
A home has color bright with care.
A house might have walls that could be lonely and friendless.
A home carries memories that are forever endless.
A house could look big or tall.
A home just feels so cozy and small.
Air in a house may be cool and chilly.
Air in a home is warm and silly.
A house is where dirt builds up on a shelf.
A home is where you can truly be yourself.
With no one to care or no one to judge.
When times are tough and you just can't seem to budge.
With your family at home all together.
My family completes me, always and forever
Thank you so much Habitat for Humanity for building homes all over Canada and giving this opportunity to write what a home means to me. Thank You!
