East west home is best

I’ve travelled far, I’ve roamed wide, Seen mountains tall and oceans tide. But no matter where I eat or rest, East or west home is best. Home is where my heart can sing, Where every day feels like spring, The sound of rain on the roof above, The gentle touch of those I love. Home is where we built our fort, With blankets, pillows, our secret court. Mom’s warm hugs and Dad’s wise words, The sweetest songs I ever heard. A place of love, a place to stay, Where worries fade and fun fills my day. No matter how far I choose to roam My heart will always call it home, Through every trip and grand explore, I know one thing forevermore, no matter where I run or roam, There’s nothing like my home sweet home!
