What makes the difference between a home and a house?

A home is different from a house. A house is made of brick, wall, and mortar. A home is made of love, joy, and your greatest supporters. In a house you would see roofs, walls, and windows. In a home you would see your family laughing, loving, even if it’s within those. The smell of a home is like no other, it usually smells like someone’s brother or mother. A home is filled to the brim with many noises. Whether it’s the television buzzing to life or your living room filled with voices. In a home you feel the soft touch of your parents. From hugs to kisses, their love is apparent. At home you taste the delicious taste of homemade cooking. It’s so scrumptious it keeps outsiders looking. If my house ever decided to turn to ash and cinder, I would know that the memories, the love, and the emotions would still thrive within and they would never hinder. As the flames would dance, I would stay strong, because I know with my family by my side, nothing could ever go wrong. Thank you to Habitat For Humanity for everything you do. Your organization not only builds homes, but also builds opportunities. I know that millions of people around the world are grateful for all you do, and I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your work.
