A Place Called Home
A home, what is a home? A home is a place where I feel safe and sound, and loved by those around.
A home is a place, not a house. A home is with people, not walls. A home is with family and friends not floors and roofs.
A home doesn't need to be blood related. It really just needs love.
A house might be a shelter but the people give it life. It might be just some walls and a roof on the outside, however it’s really the people, warmth, the love and safety on the inside.
A home is for anything and anyone no matter who you are! The size of a home doesn’t matter if you have a small home or a big home but the biggest thing of all should be the family, the love, the hope, and the dreams.
A home feels like seeing my family smile, Hearing my brother and sister making noise, Seeing my mom’s cooking on the table.
The family traditions like movie nights every Friday night, and summer road trips.
It’s the love that coats the walls of a house not paint. It’s the warmth that coats the roof and door, not the layers of wood.
In conclusion, a home is not defined by the structure, but it is defined by the people, love, warmth, and gratitude.
