What Home Means to Me

Home to me is everything. My house, my bed, my school. Friends that take me under their wing, or laughing with family at the pool. Home to me is what makes me glad, a hug from my parents when I feel sad. Waking up to the smell of freshly made pancakes, eating them in the morning when I need a break. Cinema nights with my dad, the ending of the movie making me mad. Eating ice cream with my sister and mom, the chilly sensation making me calm. Relaxing in my bed after a long day of tests, my pillow providing me comfort and rest. Sitting at the table with no devices, my nose inhaling the smell of spices.
