Meaning of Home

Home is where I watch myself grow year after year Home is where your fears disappear Home does not have to be all fancy As long as you're happy Even if life can be sad or your day is kinda bad When you come home you’re instantly glad At home you can relax And let all the good memories come back as a flashback When I am cold at night The heat from the warm fire holds me tight When I stay up late, It is truly great The sounds of the storm Make want to sit next to my mom Even if sometimes I’m just a couch potato Or my house looks like there was a tornado It is still home to me When it is supper time My parents always remind How brilliant I am Or how I shine like a gem Then I eat a home cooked meal With a wagon wheel Or even a home cooked dessert Not made by an expert But made with love And a pair of gloves Before you move into your home it is just a house But it is the memories and all the good time That makes it a home. THANK YOU habitat for humanity for helping thousands of people who do not have a home, have the perks and the warmth of a home.
