What home means to me

Home is not just a structure, but a palace of dreams From playing video games to eating ice cream It has warmth, even when it’s cold Cannot be bought, and cannot be sold Home is a paradise worth more than gold It is a base, where stories unfold Memories flowing, over the years Happy cheer, or flooded with tears Home is a safe place, to calm and rest No noise, no mud, or any math tests Relaxation, no explanation So much it feels like a reincarnation Home can be anything, from a house to a pen It’s probably more than ten! From a building to a rock Or a safe with many locks Oh the places you’ll go To where you never know No matter how far you trek and roam You will always come back, to your home
