A Place to Belong

I arrive at my house, my home, my shelter and inside there are my siblings laughing and playing, my mom making dinner and my dad reading the news. My room and my cozy bed, all the great books beside it, the random junk under my beds and the photos on my walls of the everlasting memories in my past. Home to me is a place where I belong. It doesn’t have to be your house, it can be anywhere where you can call home. Everybody has different opinions to where they think they belong but to me I feel home whenever I am at my favourite restaurant where everybody greets me when I walk past the door, I feel home whenever I am reading my favourite book and the pages turn smoothly through my fingers, I feel like I am home whenever I walk along the morning dew of the golf course and tripping on concrete. I belong where I classify my home and sometimes we have to go through leaving our homes and put everything behind and start something new in a mysterious place. But wherever you are you can always search for that goldilocks zone and find home.
