A Home is a Place Where I Can be Me

A house is just a place made of bricks and stone, a house is not even close to my home. A house could be HUGE with space to run free but only a home is a place where I can be me. A home unlike a house isn’t just walls and a roof, it’s a place where I can be me and that’s the truth. In a house I'm surrounded by walls and feel as small as a pea, but in a house all I need to be is me. In a house when I try to be myself I run into a dead end, but at home I’m me and I don’t need to pretend. When I’m at home no one can tell me what to be. When I’m at home I can be me. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for building houses and supporting the community and those who need it the most
